Business Lessons:

  • I reserved some bottles of aroma from Minami.
  • I ordered some bottles of aroma form Minami
  • Reserved vs Ordered: As nouns the difference between order and reserve is that order is (uncountable) arrangement, disposition, sequence while reserve is (label) restriction. As verbs the difference between order and reserve is that order is to set in some sort of order while reserve is to keep back; to retain.

In manufacturing you’ll always have defects. This also will produce waste.

Telling your customer there is a mistake on a document.

  • Excuse me Mr. DeFilippo. I believe there is a typo on this document. This should be/read “D-O-C-U-M-E-N-T” Not “D-O-K-“ …. Is that correct?

Conversation Lessons:

Renovated: We bought an old house in the mountains and had it renovated to use as a vacation home and AirBNB.

  • Renovated vs Restored: As verbs the difference between restore and renovate is that restore is to reestablish, or bring back into existence while renovate is to renew; to revamp something to make it look new again. As a noun restore is (computing) the act of recovering data or a system from a backup.
